The City Council of Barcelona has opened the application period for grants aimed at cultural projects of interest to the city, to be carried out during 2026 in its various districts.

The call for applications, managed by the Municipal Institute of Culture of Barcelona, seeks to promote activities and proposals from cultural entities that offer artistic relevance, territorial connection, and foster the city's intangible cultural heritage. Projects must take place between January 1 and December 31, 2026.
The deadline for submitting applications is fifteen working days, starting on May 14 and ending on June 4, 2026. Applications should preferably be submitted electronically through the City Council's electronic office, although individuals can also submit them in person at designated registry offices.
The grant is divided into ten modalities, each corresponding to a city district: Ciutat Vella, L’Eixample, Sants-Montjuïc, Les Corts, Sarrià - Sant Gervasi, Gràcia, Horta-Guinardó, Nou Barris, Sant Andreu, and Sant Martí. Both legal entities and individuals who meet the requirements set out in the call's bases can be beneficiaries.
