5th COMKEDEM Solidarity Fair: Play, Bonds, and Inclusion

Barcelona hosts the 5th COMKEDEM Solidarity Fair: a day of celebration, sport, and community for all families. On September 19th, the Seminari Conciliar de Barcelona opens its doors to the 5th COMKEDEM Solidarity Fair. From 10 am to 5 pm, enjoy a family day with an adapted children's race, workshops, a popular lunch, live music, and many more activities.

On Saturday, September 19th, the Seminari Conciliar de Barcelona will be filled with activities, sports, games, music, and a strong sense of community. The COMKEDEM Leisure and Sports Association celebrates the 5th edition of its Solidarity Fair, a day open to the entire city and designed especially for family enjoyment.

From 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, the venue will be buzzing with a wide variety of participatory activities:

Adapted Children's Race: A festive and non-competitive event where all children are the stars.
Painting and Creativity Workshops: Artistic spaces to unleash imagination.
Live Music: A great atmosphere throughout the day to accompany the celebration.
Wine and Tea Tasting: Tasting workshops for the curious.
Various Tapas: Diverse gastronomic offerings.
Popular Lunch: A perfect opportunity to share a table, meet local people, and build community.

What is COMKEDEM?

COMKEDEM is a non-profit association dedicated to inclusive sports and leisure. Our mission is to offer real opportunities for personal development, autonomy, and coexistence to children, young people, and adults with functional diversity or in vulnerable situations.

We firmly believe that sport and leisure are transformative tools, and through adapted activities, we break down barriers, foster teamwork, and weave a support network where everyone has their space and no one is left behind.

And why do we organize the Solidarity Fair?

Our Solidarity Fair was created with three fundamental objectives:

Open our community: We want all families, citizens of the city to get to know us up close, participate in our activities, and discover how valuable it is to share inclusive spaces.

Raise public awareness: It's an opportunity to give visibility to functional diversity, break down prejudices naturally, and demonstrate that leisure and sport are for everyone and by everyone.

Gather support to continue growing: All proceeds from the day go towards funding our annual projects, ensuring that activities, teams, and adapted equipment remain affordable and accessible to all.

The Solidarity Fair is not just a party; it's our showcase to the city and a funding channel to continue promoting our projects.
