Pope Leo XIV's visit to Barcelona has left several memorable images, including the Sagrada Familia illuminated with a drone-created portrait of Antoni Gaudí. Among the less publicised moments, a fan of UE Sant Andreu, identified as Guillem, managed to present a scarf from his team to the pontiff. The gift was given just before the papal visit to the monastery of Montserrat, and the fan himself shared the moment on social media. The scarf was received by a member of the papal entourage.
The club UE Sant Andreu, like CE Europa, is awaiting the installation of natural grass at its stadium, the Narcís Sala, to be able to play matches in the Primera RFEF. In fact, the club has already informed its fans that the first league games will not be playable at the Narcís Sala as the facilities will not yet be ready.

The pontiff's visit to Barcelona concluded this Wednesday. The trip began on Tuesday midday with the Pope's arrival at Barcelona airport, coming from Madrid. During his stay, the Pope visited Barcelona Cathedral, Brians I prison, the monastery of Montserrat, and the parish of Sant Agustí in the Raval neighbourhood. Finally, he proceeded to the Sagrada Familia. Although the printed programme for the event, issued before the language controversy, only included Spanish for the blessing, Catalan was the predominant language during his blessing of the Tower of Jesus at the temple designed by Antoni Gaudí. Approximately 120,000 people cheered the Holy Father along his route, with an unprecedented deployment by the Mossos d'Esquadra.
