Experts, public officials, and technology companies will gather at the Badalona Centre Internacional de Negocis (BCIN) to reflect on the digital challenges facing public administrations. The congress, organized by the consortium Localret with the collaboration of the Badalona City Council and the Catalan Cybersecurity Agency, aims to be a benchmark in digital security.
Under the slogan "Governing with digital responsibility", Localciber seeks to establish itself as a meeting point for sharing knowledge, real experiences, and best practices. The event will address strategic issues such as the implementation of the European directive NIS2, data governance, digital identity protection, and crisis management in the face of cyberattacks.
The institutional welcome will take place on Thursday, September 17, with remarks from Cristina Agüera, 1st Deputy Mayor of Badalona; Laura Caballero, Director of the Catalan Cybersecurity Agency; and Andreu Francisco, Director General of the Localret consortium. The program features over 25 expert speakers and 20 activities, with participation from institutions like INCIBE and the National Police Corps.
