The Badalona City Council, through the Department of Senior Citizens, is collaborating in the organization of this literary gathering, driven by a group of seniors with a long trajectory of over sixteen years. The aim is to promote poetry, literary creation, and cultural exchange.
The Encuentro de Poetas en Red is a non-profit initiative that organizes poetry recitals, musical performances, literary meetings, and cultural activities in various Spanish cities. Its purpose is to bring poetry closer to citizens and create spaces for dialogue and cultural participation.
The 2026 program will be spread over three days. Activities will take place in three emblematic locations: the Casal de la Solidaritat de Badalona Can Pepus (Friday 18th), the Badalona Museum (Saturday 19th), and the port of Badalona (Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th).

The gathering, which has held thirty-two itinerant editions, brought together nearly sixty poets from various countries at its previous event in Priego de Córdoba, establishing itself as a benchmark for poetry and literature enthusiasts.
