The Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya has issued a nighttime heat warning for Barcelona and several coastal and pre-coastal municipalities, where humidity will make it difficult to sleep.

The forecast for this Tuesday, June 30, points to a day marked by high thermal values. During the day, maximum temperatures will range between 32 and 37 ºC in parts of the pre-coastal area, while in the Catalan capital, thermometers will hover around 30 to 32 ºC at midday.
The situation will be particularly heavy during the night hours. In Barcelona, minimums will remain between 25 and 27 ºC, while in the rest of the coast and pre-coastal area, values will be between 22 and 24 ºC. This environment will be aggravated by high humidity, which during the first part of the night could reach between 75 and 85 %.
Regarding the state of the sky, a mostly clear day is expected, although with the presence of some thin clouds. Towards the afternoon, clouds could form in the northeast pre-coastal area, with the possibility of occasional showers in areas such as Montseny or Les Guilleries.
Looking ahead to the start of July, between Wednesday and Thursday, an increase in low cloud intervals is expected on the central coast and pre-coastal areas. Although the thermometer could record slightly lower values, the feeling of humidity will remain present until the arrival of another heat spike expected for the end of the week.
