The Barcelona City Council has assisted 47,000 individuals in municipal facilities since the foreigner regularization process began, with nearly 2,000 benefiting from legal aid.

Since the start of the foreigner regularization process, the Barcelona City Council has provided assistance to 47,000 people. The council has issued a total of 29,800 vulnerability certificates since April 16th, and approximately 2,000 individuals have benefited from legal support offered by the Catalan administration. Regarding proof of residency, around 175,440 registration certificates and 77,000 residency certificates have been processed.
Starting next week, all procedures and support will be consolidated at the Miquel Bleach center and pavilion 2 of Fira de Barcelona. Consequently, the Citizen Attention Offices (OAC) in Sant Miquel and Monumental will cease offering these services on weekdays, although the Monumental OAC will continue to operate on Saturdays.
Fira de Barcelona will become the central hub for receiving most of these document requests and advice. All municipal support services for the regularization process will be grouped in this location. From next Tuesday, the operating hours will be from eight in the morning to half past eight in the evening. The council has specified that since this space became operational, attention slots have been centralized, with over 17,700 distributed. These slots indicate the location and time frame for a service described as "faster and more agile, without queues."
