The event is part of the Pride Barcelona 2026 activities, taking place from June 27th to July 19th, commemorating International LGTBI Pride Day.
This year's opening speaker is singer-songwriter María Peláe, a recognized voice in Spain's current music scene. Following the speech, Peláe will perform at the same Plaça Universitat, in an evening combining music, culture, and pride.
Under the slogan «All Realities, One Pride», Pride Barcelona 2026 focuses on the concept of intersectionality. This perspective aims to understand the LGTBI community in a more complex way, recognizing how sexual orientation, gender identity, origin, age, social class, or administrative status constantly intertwine, shaping each person's life experiences.
