In the rest of the metropolitan region, the sun will be the undisputed protagonist. Only north of the Costa Brava and in some stretches of the Costa Daurada might low clouds and some coastal fog be observed.
Temperatures will rise by two to three degrees generally across Catalonia. In Ponent, highs could exceed 40 ºC, while the pre-coastal areas will surpass 35 ºC.
The trend suggests this stagnant situation will persist in the coming days, with sun and intense heat showing few variations, consistently exceeding the usual values for this time of year. No significant changes are expected until well into next week.
