Parliamentary Appearance on Infiltrations in Teachers' Assemblies

The Minister of Interior, Núria Parlon, and the Director General of the Mossos d'Esquadra, Josep Lluís Trapero, will appear before the Parliament on Wednesday to provide explanations regarding the infiltration of agents into teachers' assemblies.

The summonses are scheduled for 4:30 PM at the Interior and Public Security Commission of the Catalan chamber. This initiative stems from the identification of two Mossos agents infiltrated in a teachers' assembly at a school in Ciutat Vella.
The request for the appearance was made by ERC, the comuns, and Junts, who had also requested the presence of the Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Esther Niubó. The news of Trapero and Parlon's appearances coincides with the first day of teacher protests across Catalonia.

The unions USTEC-STEs (IAC) and CGT have already announced that they are considering taking legal action regarding the police infiltration in the teachers' assembly.

The trade union organizations consider these events to represent a serious violation of teachers' rights to assembly, strike, and union freedom, which is why they have announced legal actions.
