The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested two people and dismantled two drug dealing points in an operation carried out in Barcelona and Badalona on June 29 and 30.

The police investigation led to the arrest of a woman and a man, both with prior records for public health offenses. According to police data, the arrested woman specialized in renting properties to later use them for the consumption and sale of narcotics, mainly cocaine and crack.
The operation revealed that the suspect had allegedly rented up to 35 properties, of which at least 21 were used as drug dens. She was not only the contract holder but also actively participated in the organization and management of these sales points.
The man arrested in the same operation also has a criminal record including theft and assault, in addition to public health offenses. The woman had previously been arrested in November of last year during a similar operation against drug trafficking in the Eixample and Ciutat Vella districts.
