Man Arrested in Barcelona for 2018 Mafia-Linked Homicide in Naples

The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a 33-year-old Italian national in Barcelona, accused of a homicide committed in Naples in 2018 and linked to the Camorra.

The arrest occurred on May 27th in the Eixample neighborhood by plainclothes officers, after the individual identified himself with a forged document. The following day, authorities received an arrest and expulsion order for serious offenses, including aggravated homicide.
According to reports, the detainee is accused of murdering a member of a "rival clan" in the Italian city's public streets, along with two accomplices. The events are part of the activities of a criminal organization linked to the Italian mafia eight years ago.
The man was brought before the judicial authorities this Saturday.
