Catalan teachers have called for a new strike day this Tuesday, which coincides with the start of the university entrance exams (PAU) and the Pope's arrival in Barcelona.

The call comes after the collective rejected in a consultation a pre-agreement reached between the education department and various unions such as CCOO, UGT, USTEC, and Professors de Secundària.
A demonstration is planned for 11 AM from Plaça Espanya, convened by USTEC, CGT, Intersindical, CNT, and COS, under the slogan "We ask for facts, not miracles". The unions have called to "collapse" the city of Barcelona.
Despite the call for mobilization, the unions have agreed to start the protests from mid-morning to avoid affecting the mobility of students who must take the university entrance exams (PAU).
Additionally, another demonstration has been announced for Sunday in the Jardinets de Gràcia.
