The Government has greenlit the second salary agreement for teachers, which will result in an annual increase of 2,380 euros per teacher until 2029, adding to the previous pact.

The second pay agreement for teachers, reached in May with unions CCOO, UGT, and ASPEPC-SPS, has been approved by the Government. This pact will increase salaries by 2,380 euros annually per teacher until 2029.
With this new raise, the total accumulated salary increase since March will reach 5,400 euros annually per teacher, approximately 400 euros more per month, excluding the state-level increase.
The Executive has also agreed to extend the allowance for greater teaching dedication to ten additional specialities. This allowance is intended for teaching staff who take on more hours to cover substitutions.
Furthermore, a monthly allowance of 439.20 euros has been approved for inclusive education facilitators. The measure also integrates the Lexia centers in Barcelona and Escola Nova in L'Hospitalet into the public network.
