A woman is admitted in critical condition after being run over by a vehicle this Tuesday in central Barcelona. The incident occurred at the intersection between Aragó street and Rambla de Catalunya. In the same event, a minor also sustained less serious injuries.
According to police sources, the woman and the minor are not related and the accident was accidental. The Barcelona Urban Guard has taken over the investigation of the incident.
The Emergency Medical System (SEM) deployed three ambulances to the scene. Paramedics transferred the critically injured woman to the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and the minor to the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu.
The accident happened approximately at 2:30 PM this Tuesday.
