EAIRIS Technologies has joined DFactory Barcelona, promoted by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), reinforcing the industry 4.0 ecosystem with 50 companies.

EAIRIS Technologies, a company specializing in the design of Industrial EdgeAI architectures and systems for industrial environments, has joined DFactory Barcelona. This incorporation consolidates the center as the largest industry 4.0 ecosystem, now comprising 50 companies driving the sector's transformation.
The new integration brings capabilities in artificial intelligence applied to industry, cybersecurity, and connected systems. EAIRIS Technologies focuses on applied research and the design of manufacturer-independent architectures, aiming to transform isolated technological initiatives into operable and scalable systems, aligned with European regulations such as the AI Act and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

The executive president of the CZFB, Pere Navarro, highlighted that EAIRIS Technologies' arrival reinforces DFactory Barcelona as a benchmark in industry 4.0 in Europe, bringing expertise in artificial intelligence and advanced industrial systems. He emphasized the continuous work to attract talent and innovation to accelerate digital transformation.
For her part, the general director of the CZFB, Blanca Sorigué, explained that EAIRIS Technologies' focus on Industrial EdgeAI and connected systems aligns with DFactory's vision of promoting advanced solutions to address European industrial and regulatory challenges.
With this incorporation, DFactory Barcelona consolidates its position as a European leader in industrial innovation. The space, already hosting 50 companies, is at full occupancy and has begun expansion works to increase its area from 17,000 m2 to 60,000 m2, with new companies expected to move in by early 2027.
