The Can Dragó pool, located in the Porta neighborhood (Nou Barris), has become an essential meeting point for residents looking to cool off during the hottest days. This large facility, near Meridiana, has attracted both new visitors and regular users.
Some residents, like Marcos and Toñi, have discovered the space for the first time, choosing to visit in the early morning to avoid the peak heat. Others, such as Francisco and Cristina, are already regular patrons. Francisco describes the experience as "extraordinary" for cooling off, while Cristina values living just five minutes away, considering it a "privilege".
The pool, with a maximum capacity of 2,500 people, saw significant attendance on Sunday, with queues to enter. This trend is expected to continue throughout the day. The facility is particularly appreciated by residents from Nou Barris and Sant Andreu, who come with their children, taking advantage of the spacious areas, lifeguard supervision, and shaded spots with loungers and umbrellas.
The outdoor facility, open since June 6th, operates daily from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Visitors can opt for season passes or single-entry tickets, with prices around 10 euros for adults and reduced rates for children, youth, seniors, and retirees.
