In recent days, Esport Club has announced significant moves for its upcoming season's squad. The sporting management has secured three new additions with experience in Primera Catalana and promoted two young talents from their youth team.
The three reinforcements with Primera Catalana experience are central defender Ferran Roca and midfielder Carles Valls, both joining from Caldes. These players were key figures for the Caldes team last season, which finished in eighth place.
The third signing is Samuel Humedes, also a central defender, who arrives after five seasons with UA Horta, the last three in Liga Elit. Previously, Humedes also played for Can Vidalet in Primera Catalana.
Regarding the youth academy's new additions, EC promotes forward Yassir Louah, who was the youth team's top scorer last season and has already debuted with the first team in three matches this term. The other youth team promotion is right-back Pau Largo, who has progressed through all club categories since the pre-benjamin age.
In addition to these signings, EC has confirmed the contract renewals of nine players from the previous squad: Raül López, Roger García, Iván Pérez, Guillem Herreros, Joel Luna, Marc Hospital, Guillem González, Timbiry Fofana, and Alberto Díaz.
