The Minister of Social Rights and Inclusion, Raül Moreno, announced this Friday that his department will significantly increase resources to address the crisis of homeless people. This new contribution doubles the amount previously allocated for this purpose.
"We are not starting from scratch and we are increasing resources," Moreno stated to journalists after the Institutional Table for Addressing Homelessness, held at the Can Batlló complex in Barcelona.

This measure comes after the ombudswoman (síndica de greuges) promoted a national agreement to seek definitive solutions to the homelessness crisis before 2035.
