With a team of nearly 172 professionals, the hospital is dedicated to helping individuals regain autonomy and improve their quality of life. To celebrate this quarter-century, an exhibition has opened in the lobby, reviewing the key moments of its journey.
Since its opening, the hospital has continuously evolved, expanding from an initial 41 beds to offering hospital, outpatient, and home care. Notable milestones include the creation of the PADES team for home care of advanced patients, the Subacute Unit, and the Intensive Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (CRI).
Its location within the Moisès Broggi University Hospital Complex, alongside other CSI centers, strengthens a coordinated care model and facilitates continuity of care, adapting to the individual needs of each patient.
The care model focuses on physical recovery, emotional well-being, preserving autonomy, and providing support for advanced illnesses, taking into account personal preferences and the family environment.
The commemorative exhibition not only illustrates the center's evolution and resources but also aims to highlight the contributions of the professionals who, over these 25 years, have maintained the commitment to close, person-centered care.
