Barcelona City Council has greenlit the execution project to install natural grass at the Narcís Sala stadium, home of UE Sant Andreu, with a budget of 1.8 million euros.

The Barcelona council has announced that the works are expected to commence this summer and conclude by the end of the year, following an urgent tendering process. This enhancement will enable UE Sant Andreu to play their home matches on natural grass, thereby complying with the 1a RFEF regulations.
Concurrently, the City Council has initiated the necessary procedures for installing natural grass at the Nou Sardenya municipal stadium, home to CE Europa. Prior to commencing the work, a structural diagnostic study will be conducted to ensure all required safety measures are met.
