The Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) is joining Unite! Volunteers Week 2026, organizing an event on September 28th to promote sustainable habits through digital content creation.

Students from the nine Unite! universities will dedicate a week to generating a positive impact in their local communities. As part of the Unite! Volunteers Program 2026, partner universities are organizing local volunteering initiatives under the slogan «Sustainability in Action».
On September 28th, the UPC will carry out the Implica't activity to promote more sustainable habits within the Unite! Volunteers Program 2026 initiatives. Participants will receive training on sustainable habits and create digital content, such as reels and social media campaigns, to raise awareness within the university community.
The initiative includes content production, community engagement activities, a sustainability challenge, and an impact assessment report. This session will be divided into an initial online meeting on the Guide to more sustainable habits at the UPC, recording and publishing content on social media, and writing a brief final report evaluating the impact.
This pilot initiative supports Unite!'s commitment to student participation and social responsibility, bringing together students from all partner universities. Each university will organize its own activity, reflecting local priorities while contributing to Unite!'s shared goal of generating a positive environmental impact.
The activity, which grants 1 ECTS credit, will take place online from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Registrations are now open.
