The Festival Commission of the Gavarra-Lindavista neighborhood, composed of local cultural entities, has organized various events for all audiences. The amusement fair for children is already set up in Europa Square and will remain open until the last day of the festivities.
The official presentation of the festivals will take place on Friday, September 18th, at 7 PM in the Raimon Llort Hall of the Central Library. The event will be attended by the Mayor, Antonio Balmón, as well as Oliver Fernández Expósito, president of the Festival Commission, and Adrián Ruiz Parra, a psychologist and therapist.
The opening day will include a session of popular laughter therapy at 6 PM in the La Gavarra Civic Center, followed by a tribute to the band Extremoduro at 11 PM in Catalunya Square.
Saturday, September 19th, will be marked by the 12th Popular Sardine Feast “Pere Joan Forner Memorial”, organized by the Sagrada Família Musical Association. There will also be a petanque tournament at 9 AM next to the Antoni Gaudí Primary School, and the Delicias Vermusic from 12 PM to 4 PM in Delicias Square.
Saturday's program will conclude with a tribute to Raffaella Carrà at 10:30 PM in Catalunya Square. These concerts are part of the special summer programming by the Cornellà City Council.
Furthermore, on Sunday, September 20th, the 8th Vermouth from Bodega de la Consuelo “Joaquín Jaén Memorial” will be held. The Family Morning on Saturday at 11 AM in Catalunya Square will offer traditional games, reading workshops, and textile reuse workshops, along with parkour. The festival will conclude on Sunday at 12 PM with a foam party in the same square.
