The city of Figueres is mobilizing nearly 450 professionals, including security agents, volunteers, and cleaning staff, to ensure the smooth running of the 23rd edition of the Acústica Festival, taking place from August 27th to 30th.

The Figueres City Council has organized a comprehensive security, mobility, and cleaning operation for the Acústica Festival. This deployment will involve 95 agents from the Guàrdia Urbana, 128 officers from the Mossos d’Esquadra, 41 volunteers from Figueres Civil Protection and neighboring groups, as well as 160 private security professionals (100 guards and 60 access controllers). Additionally, about twenty workers from Fisersa will handle street cleaning services.
La Rambla, one of the main stages, will have a controlled maximum capacity of 10,500 people, with ten access points to manage entry. 1,500 free parking spaces are planned across various city locations to facilitate visitor access. Residents and hotel guests on La Rambla will be able to access the area through specific checkpoints.
The Advanced Command Center (CCA), located in Plaça Doctor Ernest Vila, will coordinate the different bodies. The medical support will be reinforced on August 28th and 29th with an additional ambulance. Reserved areas for people with reduced mobility will also be set up at the main stages.
The 'Punt Lila' (Purple Point), focused on raising awareness against gender-based violence, will be installed in Plaça Doctor Ernest Vila and will be operational on the nights of August 27th, 28th, and 29th, from 10 PM to 5 AM.
The festival's celebration will involve temporary changes to central mobility. Significant traffic disruptions are expected, particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings and nights, with restrictions on La Rambla on Sunday. Parking will also be prohibited on streets occupied by stages and services, and the taxi rank on La Rambla will be temporarily relocated.
Visitors will have access to 1,500 free parking spaces in various areas, including the former Far football field (500 spaces) and Parc de les Aigües (255 spaces), among others. The blue zone parking will be free from 8 PM onwards and throughout Sunday.
