The teachers' strike this morning has caused significant traffic chaos on Barcelona's access roads, with queues of up to seven kilometers on main routes such as the Ronda de Dalt and Gran Via.

The teacher mobilizations, called throughout Catalonia, began early in the morning with road closures. The first of these was recorded shortly before 7 AM on the B-20, near Santa Coloma de Gramenet, affecting both directions of traffic.
Traffic jams extended across several major roads, including the B-20, Gran Via, and C-32. The Servei Català del Trànsit reported congestion in both directions of the Ronda de Dalt, from Pedralbes to Vall d'Hebron and from Nus de la Trinitat to Vall d'Hebron. About ten bus lines were affected by the closures on this route.
Subsequently, another closure occurred on the Ronda de Dalt near Mundet, which was lifted before 8 AM. Around 8 AM, about a hundred teachers blocked Gran Via in the Can Batlló area, and the Guardia Urbana confirmed the closure of the B-20 in both directions at exit 4, although this road was later reopened in Santa Coloma.
On Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, the closure was located near La Campana, remaining until 9:00 AM and affecting another ten bus lines that run along Gran Via and Plaça Ildefons Cerdà.
Other affected points include the C-32 in Mataró towards Barcelona, closed around 7:20 AM, and the AP-7 in Montornès del Vallès southbound. A slow march of teachers was also reported on the C-55 towards Barcelona, with a group of bicycles and cars entering the C-55 in Manresa and heading to the Catalan capital via Monistrol, Olesa de Montserrat, and Abrera. The C-17 in Malla was also closed.
