The strike day called by the education sector has caused several traffic cuts on key roads in Catalonia this Tuesday morning, affecting mobility in areas such as the B-20 and C-32.

Education professionals began their protest early, with the first cut recorded shortly before seven in the morning on the B-20, near Santa Coloma de Gramenet, affecting both directions of travel. Subsequently, other points were added, such as the same road in Mundet and the Gran Via near Can Batlló, where a hundred teachers blocked traffic.
Around 7:20 AM, another group of protesters cut the C-32 in Mataró in the direction of Barcelona. In addition, a slow march of teachers was reported on the C-55 heading to the Catalan capital and the closure of the C-17 in Malla, expanding the scope of traffic disruptions.

During the mobilizations, participants chanted slogans against the heads of Education and Interior, while also calling for participation in the strike. Among the banners displayed, messages such as “More social resources and fewer police” could be read, highlighting the sector's demands.
The presence of a Mossos d'Esquadra patrol in the area of the blockades was met with chants such as “Less police, more education,” and from the protest's public address system, the arrival of “two faculty colleagues” was ironically announced, alluding to the recent controversy over the infiltration of agents into teacher assemblies.
