The fire broke out early in the morning and mobilized eight Firefighter crews. Upon arrival, personnel found the fire active and began extinction efforts. They also inspected the apartments and the stairwell of the building, which was affected by smoke.
The Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames and proceeded to ventilate the building. During the incident, some residents had to be confined to their apartments, while others evacuated voluntarily. Before allowing residents to return, gas detector readings were taken.
The Emergency Medical System (SEM) deployed three ambulances. Of the seven people affected, five received treatment at the scene and were discharged, while the remaining two were transferred to the hospital in less severe condition.
