The Montjuïc Castle in Barcelona will extend its opening hours on August 12 to facilitate the observation of the solar eclipse.

The Barcelona City Council has announced that from 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM, access will be granted to the site to witness the astronomical phenomenon.
Advance booking will be required, and the last entry to the terrace, designated for observation, will be at 9:00 PM. Although the totality of the eclipse will not be visible, a "significant part" of the celestial movement and the transformation of light can be appreciated.
The organizers note that visibility will depend on the day's weather conditions. The ticket will include certified glasses, safety instructions, and a brief explanation of the solar eclipse.
