A motorcycle rider has been fined for excessive speeding on Barcelona's Ronda del Guinardó. The vehicle was detected traveling at 103 km/h in a section where the speed limit is set at 50 km/h.
The incident occurred on Thursday as part of a speed control campaign conducted by the Guàrdia Urbana. This serious traffic violation carries fines ranging from 100 to 500 euros, as well as potential points deduction from the driver's license, according to current regulations.
According to the Gràcia territorial unit of the police force, this speed of 103 km/h is the highest recorded so far on this particular stretch of road.
