The new line, designed to facilitate mobility in the bordering neighborhoods such as Collblanc and La Torrassa, will connect these areas with the Les Corts district, especially during FC Barcelona matches when traffic restrictions are in place due to large crowds.
The route will be approximately six kilometers long. It will start at the Ernest Lluch interchange, on Camí de Torre Melina street, and run along Collblanc road, Cardenal Reig street, and Sant Ramon Nonat avenue. Subsequently, it will continue along Collblanc road, Madrid avenue, Gran Via de Carles III, Diagonal avenue, Doctor Marañón, and Xile avenue, thus completing the circle.
This initiative will allow residents of L'Hospitalet who travel through the border area between the two municipalities to maintain their connection with the regular bus and metro network, avoiding the disruptions caused by traffic closures around the stadium.
The special bus service will begin operating two hours before each match, will remain active during the event, and will continue for up to an hour and a half after its conclusion. The planned frequency will be approximately every 15 minutes, with an estimated journey time of 32 minutes to complete the full loop, although TMB notes that these times may be affected by traffic density.
