The Agency for the Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) has opened the MOBINT-MIF grant call for the 2026-2027 academic year, aimed at Catalan university students undertaking an internationally recognized academic stay abroad.

The MOBINT-MIF grants are designed to contribute to the mobility expenses of students selected for international academic stays. Each student can only receive this grant once throughout their studies and cannot be a beneficiary of more than one modality.
The grant modalities include Modality A for stays in Erasmus+ program countries and associated countries like the United Kingdom and Switzerland; Modality B for stays in the rest of the world within the international mobility programs of Catalan universities; and Modality C for stays within the Improvement and Innovation Program for Teacher Training at Catalan Universities. Additionally, students in Modality A studying in the French region of Occitania may be eligible for a complementary grant from the Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion.
Applications for these grants, which can only be submitted online via a specific form, will be open from October 28 to November 27, 2026. The maximum grant amount is 1,200 euros (200 euros per month for a maximum of 6 months), with a complementary grant of 600 euros for Modality A in the Occitania region.
To be eligible for the grant, students must meet general and academic requirements, such as holding Spanish or EU nationality, being enrolled in a Catalan university, having completed a minimum of 60 credits, and demonstrating a B2 language level. Minimum average grades vary depending on the field of study.
The required documentation includes the academic transcript, the admission credential for the stay, and language proficiency certification. For master's students, additional documentation regarding undergraduate studies is requested.
AGAUR also reminds that for the 2025-2026 academic year, students who received the grant last year must submit the stay justification document by October 31, 2026.
