Giant screen installed in Barcelona to watch the World Cup final.

Barcelona City Council will install a giant screen in the Les Corts district to allow citizens to follow the World Cup final live, which will take place on Sunday, July 19.

The city of Barcelona will offer the opportunity to follow the World Cup final live, scheduled for Sunday, July 19, at 9:00 PM. The sporting event can be watched on a large 8x5 meter screen to be set up on Martí i Franquès street, near Baldiri i Reixac street, in the Les Corts district.
The organization has planned pre-event activities starting at 7:00 PM with games and music on the giant screen. At 8:30 PM, the match preview will begin, and at 9:00 PM, the broadcast will connect with the official TVE transmission. The area will have access controls, and the entry of alcoholic beverages and glass bottles will be prohibited, aiming for a festive, respectful, and family-friendly atmosphere.
The Councilor for Sports, David Escudé, highlighted that this initiative reinforces Barcelona's commitment to making sporting events open celebrations for the city's residents. He recalled previous similar installations, such as the one for the women's Champions League final at Parc de les Glòries and the men's European Football Championship in 2024.
