The Popular Parties of the provinces of Castellón, Tarragona, and Teruel formalized this Thursday in La Sénia the signing of the 'Without Borders' decalogue, a project aiming to join forces and build opportunities through territorial cooperation.

The event, attended by provincial presidents Marta Barrachina (Castellón), Maria Mercè Martorell (Tarragona), and Joaquín Juste (Teruel), along with a broad representation of mayors and party members, highlighted the commitment to work together to improve the lives of citizens in the three provinces. The central slogan of the initiative is that "what unites us is stronger than any administrative border".
The decalogue promotes proximity politics and advocates for key points such as equal opportunities between territories, enhancing connections between public services, demanding strategic infrastructure, access to decent housing, generating economic activity and employment, affordable energy, ensuring quality public services, exchanging municipal best practices, supporting youth, and defending shared identity and future.

"When we work together, we are stronger. In the PP, we are very clear about this, because it is the people who win. The decalogue we have signed defends equality between territories, working jointly to improve the lives of people in the three provinces."

Marta Barrachina · President of PP of Castellón

"There is much talk of metropolitan areas, but the three provinces are stronger than any area. We share countless issues, and we must leverage them for the benefit of all people."

Maria Mercè Martorell · President of PP of Tarragona

"We live in an enviable geographical location, but that is of no use if we do not have good infrastructure. That is why we must accelerate and streamline everything with a single objective so that we all have the same opportunities."

Joaquín Juste · President of PP of Teruel
The 'Without Borders' initiative, originally born in 2014, now expands to propose serious policies, shared European projects, and a common agenda for this geographical area, seeking to overcome administrative barriers and foster joint development.
