The Consorci de Salut i Social de Catalunya (CSC) has presented the five finalist projects of the Impulsa Program in the category of impulse for dermatological or digestive diseases (IMID), which aim to improve healthcare.

During a session held at the CSC headquarters, the selected initiatives were announced. Their proponents presented their challenges and proposals for improving patient care for these conditions. The finalist projects range from digital integration of patient voice to multidisciplinary care models and optimization of biological therapies.
The projects are "VEU-IMID" (Vall d'Hebron University Hospital and VHIR), proposing a digital infrastructure to integrate patient voice; "Model integral HS-Artritis" (Parc Taulí Hospital Universitari and I3PT-CERCA), for patients with hidradenitis suppurativa and inflammatory arthritis; "CALIOPE" (GETECCU), a digital platform to assess care quality in inflammatory bowel disease; "ECOSISTEMA-HS" (Hospital del Mar), integrating training for healthcare professionals and HS patients; and "OptiMIPD-MII" (Bellvitge University Hospital), aiming to optimize biological therapy in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
From today until November 20th, the five projects can be voted on via the Impulsa Program website. Public voting will account for 10% of the final score, with the remaining 90% assessed by an evaluation committee. The winner will be announced on November 26th.
The session also included a panel discussion with Dr. Yamile Zabana (Hospital Mútua de Terrassa), Olman Elizondo (AQuas), and Manel Fontanet (Servei Català de la Salut), who also served on the jury.
The Impulsa Program, driven by the CSC, aims to identify, recognize, and highlight innovative projects within the public healthcare and social care system to promote transformation and knowledge transfer.
