The deputy director of Coordination and Emergency Management, Imma Solé, detailed that this measure aims to improve mobility during days when severe disruptions are expected due to the large influx of people and the planned security arrangements. The Civil Protection Plan (Procicat) will be active on these two days.
Solé indicated that daily routines will continue despite the mobilizations called by teachers on Tuesday. She emphasized that Civil Protection will ensure these actions are compatible with a visit that anticipates a large number of attendees.
This recommendation comes after last Tuesday, when the Minister of Territory and government spokesperson, Sílvia Paneque, stated that a remote work recommendation was not planned, contrary to the suggestion from the Spanish Ministry of Labour. The Catalan executive, according to Paneque, will focus on ensuring mobility with specific measures.
