The Community Resources Unit Dr. Pi Molist at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau has delivered 300 handmade keychains, created by its users, to the 2026-2027 Vaccination Campaign against flu and COVID-19.

Users of the Community Resources Unit Dr. Pi Molist (URC) have crafted handmade textile pieces as part of their rehabilitation process. This initiative, part of the “Donant Puntades” project, aims to foster inclusive volunteering and create a space for community encounter and integration.
On this occasion, 300 keychains have been made for the first 300 hospital professionals to receive flu and COVID-19 vaccinations. A total of 20 participants machine-sewed and prepared these items for this year's campaign.
The “Donant Puntades” project, launched in March 2023, is a creative and artisanal sewing initiative that provides a service to the community. To date, over 45 volunteers have participated, producing around 400 personalized bags for children, 5 changing mats for the Neonatal ICU, 55 rehabilitation cushions, 200 cardholders for Arrels Foundation, and the current keychains.
This activity addresses specific needs, giving purpose and meaning to the creative process and the participants, while also working to destigmatize mental health issues and promote social inclusion.

Participating voluntarily in an activity that directly benefits the community, an objective considered within the community rehabilitation and recovery process undertaken at the URC.

The URC Dr. Pi Molist is part of the Psychiatry Service of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau and offers psychosocial rehabilitation for individuals affected by mental health problems and addictions, including a Community Rehabilitation Service, supported housing, and a Social Club.
