The event, organized by the Roquetes City Council with the support of the Tourism Board of the Diputació de Tarragona, will offer a gastronomic space for tasting locally made tapas. These culinary creations, prepared by the city's restaurateurs and pastry shops, can be paired with a selection of wines, sparkling wines, and vermouths from various wineries in the DO Terra Alta region.
The fair, extending over six hours, will include live musical performances. The lineup features Laura Garí Trio (7:30 PM), Walking Bounce Swing (9:00 PM), and Albino Tena y Los Perfectes Secundaris (10:30 PM), preceding the main concert by Band The Cool at 11:59 PM, who are returning for the third consecutive year due to their previous success.
A total of eight local restaurants and pastry shops will participate: La Parada de la Fira, Supersà, La Cassola de Roquetes, Bar Nita, Curs de cuina Ravaleros, Pastisseria Noa, La Mar Pastisseria, and Alfajores Renú. Additionally, five wineries from the DO Terra Alta will offer white, red, and rosé wines, along with sparkling wine and vermouth tastings. As a new addition, a craft beer brewery will be featured.
The ticket price for four wine tastings, or three tastings plus a glass, will be 10 euros. There will also be a bar service with sandwiches and drinks, managed by the Comerç Agrupat de Roquetes i la Raval de Cristo (CAR). A wine hamper will be raffled among attendees during the event.
The mayor of Roquetes, Ivan Garcia, highlighted the fair's importance as an anticipated event that values local produce and supports the wine sector, particularly affected by grape prices. Garcia emphasized the estimated economic impact of over 80,000 euros per edition, encouraging the continuation of the event.
To facilitate visitor access, the Councilor for Communication, Jordi Allepuz, mentioned the expansion of parking capacity in the city with a new parking lot on Pare Alberca street, near Hort de Cruells.
