The initiative, a collaboration between Moventis Sarfa and the Calonge i Sant Antoni Town Council, marks its third consecutive year aiming to boost tourism and access to projects like Calonge, poble de llibres. Last year, the service was used by 1,971 people, surpassing 2024 figures.
Albert Ros, Councilor for Tourism and Mobility, highlighted the commitment to refining the service annually, while Christian Busquets, manager of Moventis Sarfa, emphasized how this connection improves access to the municipality's cultural, tourist, and commercial offerings.
The bus departs from Plaça Catalunya in Sant Antoni hourly, between 6 PM and 9 PM, making ten strategic stops. These include key points such as Calonge, poble de llibres, a stop in Palamós, and the main tourist accommodation areas in Sant Antoni.
The Calonge, poble de llibres project, launched in 2021, has established the municipality as Catalonia's first 'booktown', featuring seven bookstores spread throughout the old town.
