The Generalitat Firefighters had to take action on several occasions during Sunday night to extinguish three container fires in the city of Sabadell. The first alert was received around 10:45 PM on La Palma street, near the Merinals CAP (Health Center).
Subsequently, during the Football World Cup celebrations, emergency teams had to intervene in Susqueda street (in the Torre-romeu neighborhood) and Buxeda street (in the Gràcia neighborhood).
According to information provided by the Firefighters, the incidents did not cause any injuries, although the affected containers and some nearby vehicles suffered damage from the flames.
In addition to the urban fires, a significant vegetation fire occurred in Poblenou de la Salut. Residents alerted emergency services around 3:00 AM. The fire eventually affected approximately 1,500 square meters of scrubland near the neighborhood's football field.
