The center, named Repeat, is distinguished by its soft lighting and curved walls, creating an atmosphere that invites calm and disconnection. Since its inauguration on January 7, it has already welcomed nearly a thousand people, establishing itself as a space where luxury is measured in time and personal well-being.
The idea behind Repeat originated in Tehran, where one of the founders managed a pilates studio for twelve years. This experience underscored the importance of trust and listening to one's own body, beyond mere physical discipline. The project aims to build consistency with intention, fostering a collective approach where women progress together without competing.
“"A woman does not enter a studio with just a body to train. She brings her doubts, her history, her insecurities, and sometimes even the limits she has learned."
Repeat's offerings include Reformer pilates, Lagree, EMS training, sauna, ice bath, guided breathing, massages, and red light therapy. Additionally, it features a sports fashion store, supplements, natural cosmetics, and a healthy café. The experience is designed as a comprehensive journey, where recovery is as important as training.
The decision to establish in Barcelona came after considering other cities like London and Dubai. The Catalan capital captivated the entrepreneurs with its light, architecture, young population, and health-conscious culture. They identified an opportunity to create a space that combined conscious training, recovery, and refined aesthetics, without one aspect overshadowing the others.
“"It's not about losing weight or looking like an Instagram photo. It's about listening more to your body than to the image you have in your head."
The center's design, executed with MEAN studio from Dubai, integrates elements that echo Barcelona's modernist architecture, such as Catalan vaults and artisanal tiles from Cumella, used in the restoration of pieces at Park Güell. The color palette varies by zone, from deep tones in the café to pinks and creams in the training rooms, aiming to create an environment that not only impresses but also makes one feel good.
The founders emphasize the influence of Iranian hospitality in the project's meticulous details. This philosophy translates into the intention behind every element of the center, from the ambiance to the services. Despite the political context of their country of origin, the Repeat project in Barcelona represents a continuation of their commitment to well-being and personal empowerment.
