With the arrival of cold weather, snow sports enthusiasts return to the slopes of the Pyrenees. Catalonia has 19 ski resorts, according to Idescat data, consolidating its position as one of the regions with the greatest tradition in winter sports. The Girona stations have started the season with improvements in sustainability and digitalization, offering a skiable domain of 206 km.
The combined Skitren La Molina pass is priced at 53 euros for adults and 41.50 euros for children. This ticket includes the round trip train journey on the R3 line from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat to La Molina, the bus to the slopes, and a one-day ski pass including insurance. For its part, the Skitren Vall de Núria ticket includes the round trip journey on the R3 line to Ribes de Freser, the rack railway (cremallera) to the valley, and a one-day ski pass. These combined tickets allow skiing on the slopes of La Molina and Vall de Núria with savings that can reach 30% compared to purchasing the services separately.
For users who prefer to enjoy the mountain without skiing, the TreNatura option includes the train ticket to Ribes de Freser and the round trip on the Vall de Núria Rack Railway.
