Man found dead in his Berga home after neighbor's alert

Firefighters accessed the residence in Berga's old quarter at noon, confirming the death showed no signs of violence.

The Catalan Fire Department found a deceased man inside his home in the old quarter of Berga on Monday midday, following an alert from a neighbor concerned about his prolonged absence.

The alert was received around 12:30 p.m., when a resident of the old town of Berga notified emergency services that she had not seen the occupant of the apartment for several weeks.
Immediately, Fire Department personnel traveled to the scene to carry out the forced entry into the home and confirmed the discovery of the man's lifeless body.

The man did not show any external signs of violence, although procedures have been initiated to determine the exact causes of his death.

According to Fire Department sources, the deceased did not present any signs of violence. Nevertheless, the relevant judicial and medical procedures have been initiated to accurately determine the causes of death.
