The labor advisory and support services provided by the ACEB assisted 170 people, divided into two main groups: 80 active professionals seeking to improve their competitiveness and 90 unemployed individuals looking for an opportunity in the job market.
Within the unemployed group, the association highlights two main profiles: young people seeking their first job and individuals over 45 years old who need to update their digital and training skills. The personalized support, including interview simulations, enabled 30 participants (33%) to secure direct job placement.
“"We have detected that the socio-health sector needs not only training but also an improvement in working conditions to prevent staff turnover and consolidate workforces."
Regarding orientation for active professionals, attention focused on the health and personal care sector, considered a strategic pillar in Berguedà. The ACEB conducted a survey of about thirty companies, identifying a lack of qualified technical profiles and structural difficulties in covering night and weekend shifts.
These sessions also supported participants in adapting to changes in the labor market, working on skills such as stress management and adaptability. Furthermore, experienced workers were referred to official validation processes (Acredita’t) to obtain Vocational Training qualifications.
