In Bagà, solar panels have been installed on the roof of the Institut Alt Berguedà, with a generation capacity of 174,680 kWh. The majority of this energy, approximately 78%, will be used to supply the educational center itself. The remaining 22% of surplus energy will be directed to the Cadí Moixeró Natural Park Office, located near the urban center.
This initiative is part of a broader project that includes five additional collective self-consumption systems in central Catalonia. In Artés, solar panels will power the institute and the Primary Care Center. In Manresa, the La Ginesta nursery and the city's courts will benefit from the generated energy.
In the Bages region, in Sant Fruitós, the installation at the Institut Gerbert d'Aurillac will be connected to the Territorial Management of Central Catalonia. In Santpedor, the Institut d'Auró will also have solar panels, with surplus energy sent to the local CAP (Primary Care Center).
Finally, in the Moianès region, in Moià, the institute's roof has been equipped with solar panels, and energy not consumed by the center will be transferred to the municipality's fire station.
All these actions are co-financed by the FEDER Program 2021-2027, aiming to promote the use of green energy generated on public rooftops to supply other nearby Generalitat facilities.
