The day began at the Town Hall, where the minister met with the mayor, Laia Serra, and other councilors. During the meeting, Moreno signed the institution's guest book.
Subsequently, the visit moved to the Sant Roc Residence, accompanied by the Government delegate for Alt Pirineu i Aran, Sílvia Romero, and the territorial coordinator of Social Rights and Inclusion, Eva Jordà. The center's director, Marta Rojas, guided the tour of the facilities.
The Department has allocated 1,145,925.42 euros from Next Generation EU funds for the project, which will create 20 new residential places (up to 50) and 15 day center places (up to 30). The objective is to adapt the facility to current demand and strengthen care for the elderly and those in situations of dependency.
The residence, managed by the Fundació Pública de Serveis Sant Roc, is located on Prat de la Riba street. The visit is part of the minister's territorial tour of the region.
