The Puigcerdà Music Festival will hold its 2026 edition between July 24 and 26, featuring six concerts spanning genres like jazz, folk, and classical music.

Cerdanya will host another edition of the Puigcerdà Music Festival, taking place from July 24 to 26, 2026. The event presents a lineup of six performances designed to offer a varied musical program throughout the weekend.
The festival will feature both local and international performers. It kicks off on Friday, July 24, at 9 PM in the Sala de Convencions del Museu Cerdà with a concert by young artists. Aïnhoa Pla (clarinet and oboe) and pianist Laia Martin will be the featured performers. Pla, a recent graduate from the Conservatori de Música dels Pirineus, received the “Protagonistes del demà” Award from the Rotary Club del Berguedà.
The Teatre Municipal del Casino Ceretà will host the Saturday and Sunday concerts. On Saturday, July 25, at 12 PM, Eva Sauret (vocals) and Kic Barroc (piano) will present 'Barrocant Jazz', reinterpreting 18th-century works with a jazz twist. On Sunday, July 26, at the same time, the folk music group La Sonsoni, comprising Elies Porter (violin and vocals) and Pep Lizandra (diatonic accordion, vocals, and percussion), will perform their show 'Muntanyes de vida', focusing on the transformation of mountain villages.
On Saturday, July 25, at 6 PM, the clarinet trio Una cosa rara, featuring Carlos Moliner, Naüm Monterde, and Oriol Garcia, will perform 'Cafè Saumell'. This concert is inspired by the Havana cafes of the mid-19th century, with a repertoire including danzones and opera.
Saturday's program concludes at 9 PM with a violin and piano concert. Violinist Nigedemu Zeng, a laureate of international competitions such as Osaka (2019) and Kachaturian (2023), and pianist Ren Zhang, will present a demanding program featuring works by P. Sarasate, C. Franck, and R. Strauss.
The festival's closing on Sunday, July 26, at 9 PM, will feature performances of Brahms's Piano Quartet in C minor, Op. 60, and Schubert's String Quintet in C major, D. 956. The pieces will be performed by Luba Saladukhina and Janna Gandelman (violins), Aliaksandra Zebryna (viola), Antonio Mostacci and Dmitry Yablonsky (cellos), and Laia Martin (piano).
Tickets are available for advance purchase at Codetickets or at the box office one hour before each concert, priced at €12 and €15. A weekend pass for the entire festival is also available for €50.
The event is supported by the Consell Comarcal de Cerdanya, the Girona Provincial Council, the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC).
