The classic Marxa Pirineu cross-country ski event will take place next Sunday, January 25, connecting the Lles de Cerdanya and Aransa stations, offering new flexible modalities to participants.

The large amount of snow that has fallen in Cerdanya in recent weeks has allowed the confirmation of the Marxa Pirineu, one of the most emblematic cross-country skiing events in the mountain range. This event is the only Nordic circuit in the Pyrenees that connects two stations, maintaining the traditional start in Lles and the finish line in Aransa.

The Marxa Pirineu reinvents itself so that all participants can experience it as they wish, with a more flexible format than ever.

The organization has designed up to four different modalities to adapt to the needs of those registered. Participants can choose between the competitive option, managed via Strava, or the non-competitive modality, ideal “to enjoy the landscape and the route without pressure”.
Furthermore, two main distances are offered, 14 km and 25 km, with the possibility of doing the round trip for the most resistant skiers. To facilitate logistics, registration includes bus service between both stations, allowing participants to comfortably return to their chosen starting point.
To participate, it is necessary to have the Tot Nòrdic pass or purchase the day pass. The event is supported by the Lles de Cerdanya Town Council, Tot Nòrdic, and Meteo Pirineus, and takes place at a time of excellent snow conditions across all Catalan stations.
