The town of Montblanc was the setting this past Saturday, May 23rd, for a new edition of the conference series “Xerrem de la Serra”. The event, held at the Comarcal Museum, focused on the history of the Làscaris family, under the title “Les Làscaris. Noblesa i diplomàcia” (The Làscaris. Nobility and Diplomacy).

The conference, delivered by Carme Plaza i Arqué, offered attendees a unique opportunity to delve into the local heritage and understand the significance of this lineage in political and social spheres. The event is part of the preparations for the traditional Festes de la Serra de Montblanc (Montblanc's Mountain Festivals).

The talk's informative and approachable style allowed participants to discover lesser-known aspects of the Làscaris family's influence, strengthening the connection with the region's history and culture.
