The Diada commemoration began at eight in the morning with a gathering of residents at the Town Hall of Sarral. From there, an open-to-all excursion started, including the ascent to Tossal del Fassit, one of the anticipated moments of the day, where the Estelada flag was raised.
Later, at ten in the morning, the events moved to the VIII Centenary promenade. A floral offering was made to the Senyera flag, followed by an emotional ceremony and speeches by the Municipal Corporation and local entities. The raising of the Senyera was accompanied by the performance of the Cant dels Segadors.
To conclude the commemorative day, a popular breakfast of bread with tomato and cured meats was organized. This space for meeting and coexistence allowed attendees to round off the celebration of this special date.
