The celebration, which already saw its first events on Thursday with a foam party and a youth party, now enters its central days. The opening speech, held in the Town Hall square, marked the official start of the festivities.
Friday's schedule continues with a parade featuring Xim Xim Mig Grau at 8:30 PM, followed by a fire parade by the Grup de Diables de l’Espluga de Francolí at 11 PM. The night will conclude with a mobile disco at La Parada with DJs Lady Viking and DML Sound.
On Saturday, the festivities will commence in the morning with inflatables for children at the swimming pool. In the evening, there will be a traditional supper at La Parada, followed by a night ball with the orchestra Grup Jamaika and a DJ set by DML Sound.
Sunday will be dedicated to the most traditional events, including a solemn mass, a parade with la Baldrica and el Meliton, a 'concert vermouth' by the group Destil·lats, and an afternoon and night ball with the Grup Loren.
The Festa Major will conclude on Monday, August 24th, with a popular lunch at La Parada, games for children, a hot chocolate event, and, as a closing act, a performance by a traditional 'havaneres' group at 10 PM.
Vallclara's Festa Major this year combines elements of popular culture, family activities, music, and street events, keeping the municipality in celebration for several days.
